Hi, I’d like to do similar style testing here in Vancouver and was wondering what kind of geiger counter you are using and how you must have linked it to your computer to generate the minute by minute graphs. Very cool, thanks for the data!

      Hi Aaron
The radiation monitor I use is an Aware Electonics RM-60 I bought about 20 years ago running under DOS on an old IBM PC. Each day I collect the data and convert it using my spreadsheet for charting on the blog. If you go to Aware’s site (link on my blogroll) you will see that they are still making the RM-60 but it comes with windows software which provides more options for output.
Hope to see you online soon… would be great to have a monitoring network here in BC (see my earlier post mentioning Canada’s “Radiation Surveillance and Health Assessment Division, Radiation Protection Bureau (RPB)” LOL!)
